Very mild in Denver, temperatures in the high 50's but a smattering of snow in the ground. Across the street from Civic Center Park, in front of the Capital, missionaries were giving out food to the homeless. The Saturday march was enthusiastic but small, maybe fifty people. The route was down the 16th Street Mall to the Federal Reserve and back to the Capital. The theme was - "A Veterans March" and at the Fed some veterans spoke. Along the way one bystander tried to incite the marchers with hateful words but was not successful.
